Palacete de Cázulas is a magnificent country mansion available for group rental which makes it the perfect place for small groups to get away from it all and relax or work in a peaceful and elegant environment. This jewel of Andalusia architecture set between Granada and the coast has been painstakingly restored and converted into a delightful property that can accommodate from 12 to 24 guests, making it ideal for mixed family holidays, small business conferences, or as a base for special interest groups. The property comprises of the mansion house, a separate 2 bedroomed cottage, spacious ornamental gardens, private chapel, pool, tennis court and outside summer bar/eating area. All surrounded by magnificent views of the hillsides and valley. Entrance to the property is electronically controlled, guaranteeing privacy for guests at all times. 

The Accommodation: The Palacete can accommodate up to 20 guests in the main house, plus 4 more guests (or staff) in the 2 bedroomed courtyard cottage. The main house and cottage may be rented together or separately. 
The Main House: All rooms are individually decorated and, like the rest of the house, furnished with antiques and curios. All rooms have en-suite facilities except for room 12. Cots are available upon request, and please note that room 11 is normally reserved for resident or visiting staff.

The Cottage: Has been recently decorated rustic style, with new kitchen, 3 modern bathrooms, electric heating and open log fire. Ground Floor has a small vine covered terrace leading to the front door, entrance hall, fully equipped modern kitchen, bathroom and w.c. There is a sitting room with fireplace and French windows which open onto a west facing terrace with panoramic views over an unspoilt valley. First floor has 2 twin en-suite bedrooms, landing/study area with open fireplace, stairs to storage area in the attic. 

Activities and Sightseeing: There are numerous sports opportunities in the area and most water sports can be found in Almuñécar and La Herradura including windsurfing, water-skiing, sailing and scuba diving. Horse riding, trekking, mountain biking and parapente take place in the surrounding hills and in the Alpujarras, while one of Spain's best winter ski resorts, Solynieve, can be found in the Sierra Nevada. There is also an excellent 18 hole golf course just outside Granada. 
For sightseeing, the magical city of Granada with its wealth of monuments which include the delightful Alhambra Palace, the citys' old Albaicin quarter, the old gypsy quarter of Sacromonte with its cave dwellings, the Cathedral and royal chapel, La Alcaiceria (old silk market), the Arab baths and a fine archeological museum. White mountain villages dot the hillside everywhere especially in the spectacular Alpujarra mountain region. A trip to the coast down through the Tropical Valley, which is full of exotic fruit orchards, will bring you to Almuñécar. This local market town is worth a visit for its Moorish castle, botanical gardens and Roman monuments such as the aqueduct. To the East lies Salobreña, a picturesque white village amidst sugar cane fields and crowned with an impressive Arab fortress. To the West can be found Nerja, home to one of the largest cave system in the country and the tallest stalactic pillar in the world. These descriptions are only a small part of that which can be found in the area. 

Staff Services: Within the terms of the rental agreement, staff are included to provide basic cleaning and maintenance of the house and gardens on a daily basis. Linen changes will be weekly unless otherwise requested, and extra maid service can be provided at 1000 ptas per hour. This includes 3 hours maid service 7 days a week, plus a gardener/handyman from Monday morning to Friday lunchtime. Catering can be undertaken fully or partly by guests or left to our catering staff who, according to requirements, can arrange the shopping, preparation and cooking of set meals, buffets, picnics etc. These services should be booked in advance, as should any special food requirements for guests.
