Javea is approximately 1½ hours from Alicante airport, and has been pronounced as almost environmentally pure by the W.H.O. The beach is rated Blue Flag and there are only 2 high rise buildings in the resort. The beach is lovely sand, with high quality restaurants fronting the sea, plus a pretty port area with tranquil views of the harbour. There are 2 golf courses within a 20 minute drive of the villa, both of which are set in orange and lemon groves, plus tennis and horse riding are available locally. A 15 minute walk will take you to the beach and there is an English owned bakery and papershop in the town along with many other shops.
Renowned for its' hot summers and mild winters, the Costa Blanca is ideal for painters, writers etc as the peace and tranquility here is truly amazing.
There is also an historic part of Javea which dates back to the XV century with an archeological museum in the Pueblo, the oldest part of the town. There are many small and picturesque coves to explore in the area, some with restaurants overlooking the sea.

The Villa: is one of only two in a private road with no through traffic. In an elevated position, it boasts views of the sea, lighthouse and the famous 850 mtr mountain of Montgo from its large glazed conservatory. The kitchen is light and modern, with oven/hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The delightful lounge is furnished to a high quality, with TV/video and an open fireplace.

There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, (1 double & 1 twin) and 1 double bedroom below the villa in its' own setting with full en-suite facilities including a fridge and washing machine. This bedroom is extremely suitable for the elderly, as it only has 1 step up to the garden, and 3 steps up to the pool area, plus the villa has gas central heating which makes it ideal for winter holidays.
The garden is beautifully laid out with date palms, lawn, fish pond, pergola and BBQ area. The grounds are enclosed and fenced, with parking. The property is managed by a local English couple, and the pool, is maintained weekly.

Rental cars can be picked up and dropped at Alicante airport and English speaking car hire companies offer winterrates of approximately £65 per week for a small car.
