Finca Ventura is a lovely home in the hills behind the coast with panoramic views towards Estepona and the sea. Although the location is quiet and peaceful, the bustle and fun of the coast is within easy reach. The range of restaurants within the locality is unrivalled; from the sophistication of Marbella's "Golden Mile", the excellent fish restaurants in the bigger towns, to the simple but delicious food served all day long in the many beach-bars up on the coast, there is something for everyone's taste and pocket. Entertainment is available in the form of Aqua-parks, Go-cart circuit, cinema at Marbella, and the popular Sunday market in Estepona. Shopping is easy and handy, with the big Estepona Carrefour just outside the town, many other supermarkets close by and superb fresh produce markets in Estepona itself.

For those who wish to explore Andalucía - "the Old Spain" - the villa is ideally placed. Just a few miles inland from the coast, the "white villages" of Casares and Gaucin perch incredibly on the edge of mountainous cliffs; the countryside is wild and beautiful, and it is almost impossible to believe that the bright lights of the coast are just a short drive away.

The Villa is reached via a gravel drive with plenty of car parking and turning space; it is approached through typical "andaluz" patio with a trickling fountain. The living areas are on the upper entrance level and the bedrooms below. French windows lead from the farmhouse kitchen/sitting room to a spacious terrace with fantastic views. A spiral staircase curves down to the bedrooms - all with direct access to the pool, further terraces and small lawned garden.

The accommodation comprises: Kitchen / dining / sitting room, utility room, study, cloakroom, 2 doubles and 1 twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite). Digital Satellite TV and video (films available), stereo system with radio CD, tapedeck, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave.

Off the entrance patio is a separate apartment. The house is elegantly furnished by its English owners (who have a small cottage in the grounds) and well equipped. It is the perfect choice for a family holiday, or for those who wish to "get away from it all" in peace and quiet.

The Apartment: Self contained, bright and sunny. Double bedroom, bathroom, sitting room, kitchenette, own Sat TV. Dining room with sofa bed for two.

Maid Service: Free, 3 mornings a week.

Location: Estepona 3 kms. Seville 2.5 hrs.

Golf: 8 free rounds of golf at one of the neighbouring courses.

Prices per week: Sterling, all bookings Friday to Friday
