ten-minute walk to the beach, and one kilometre from the modern yacht
harbour, this pleasant and spacious villa is situated in a mature
urbanisation, forming part of the Calahonda coastal development. Calahonda
is approximately 25 minutes from Malaga airport and 15 minutes from
Marbella. Although the villa enjoys the benefits of a quiet position, it is
only a few minutes walk to a range of pleasant restaurants, mini-markets,
cafes, a 24-hour medical centre and even a veterinary surgery.
The villa is set in
mature gardens offering privacy, security and quiet surroundings. There
is secure parking beneath a shady pergola. The gardens are provided with a
10 metre private pool, a pool shower, a solarium, lawns and two large,
shaded areas, one complete with barbecue, sink and refreshment bar, the
other, adjacent to the villa, has seating for eight around a teakwood table.
Santa Elena has three
en suite bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom has a double bed, there
is a similar size room with twin beds, and a smaller room with a bed
converting from a single to two twins. All three bedrooms offer views to the
south and the nearby Mediterranean sea. A large en suite ‘maids room’ room
in the basement may be equipped with twin beds if required. This room has a
private entrance, not accessed from the main house, thus offering a degree
of extra privacy if required.
The villa has
been completely redecorated to a professional standard in 2003 and
completely refurnished in 2003 to a high standard, offering a high standard
of accommodation. The kitchen is fully fitted with new equipment, offering
everything you will need, from an electric juicer to a dishwasher. The villa
also has ‘Sky’ free for view television. The utility room is equipped with a
new washing machine, iron & board etc.
A car is not necessary
as everything is within walking distance. There is a coastal bus route
within 200 metres. The taxi from Malaga airport is approx 30 Euros.
The grounds are
provided with an automatic watering system and attended by a professional
gardener, and you will be greeted by the local manager, who is available to
provide assistance and information, if required |
