Puerto de la Duquesa is widely quoted as the Costa del Sol's best-kept secret. Although within easy reach of the airports of Malaga (50 minutes) and Gibraltar (30 minutes), La Duquesa seems like an oasis of calm far from the high rise apartments & crowds of other holiday resorts and offers an glimpse of real life in Southern Spain. Getting to Duquesa has recently become at lot easier & faster due to the construction of the new improved coastal highway & toll roads.

Among the many attractions in and around the port area are: Varied water sports, Miles of beautiful, un crowded beaches, a wide variety of bars, restaurants & cafés, central golf location.

                   
 

La Duquesa's charm centres on its unspoilt authentic local character which is achieved through limited and well-managed development. The port of La Duquesa offers full marina services for boating enthusiasts and the attractive promenades encircling the port offer a variety of restaurants, intimate bars and cafés in which to while away the days. There is a vast choice of eating and drinking options include French, Italian, Chinese, Indian, English, Thai and, of course, Spanish with its fresh local fish. For those wishing to cater for themselves there are local grocery stores and of course fishermen who will always be willing to sell you something for that special dinner in the apartment. Two nights a week the port hosts a unique Crafts Market, popular with the local residents as well as visitors.

For excursions, there are many places to visit and some are as follows: Gibraltar, Morocco, Ronda, Marbella & Puerto Banus,
Estepona, Casares and Selwo National Park to name a few.

The Apartment:

Our 3 bedroom Penthouse is situated on the 5th floor of the east wing of the new Duquesa Marina complex. The terrace which overlooks 2 of the pools and paddle tennis courts provides panoramic views of the beach, coast, sea & mountains.

The large 33m² terrace is south facing and benefits from sun for most of the day, the setting sun also illuminates the distant west facing mountains providing a dramatic evening vista. All bedrooms have sea & pool views.

             


The accommodation consists of the following:
Large Lounge/Diner with Satellite TV, 28" television CD/DVD player & home cinema surround sound system. Fully fitted Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave hob, oven & fridge freezer. Utility area with washing machine & sink unit. Large terrace with luxury patio furniture seating 6. Master bedroom with fitted wardrobes TV & safe. En suite bathroom with over bath shower. Two further Bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. Guest bathroom with over bath shower. Double underground car parking space adjacent to lift.
The apartment is fully air conditioned with a digital temperature controller situated in the lounge area. There is a security intercom in the kitchen that connects with main entrance; the main entrance doors can be activated remotely from the front lobby.

Discounted rates for 3 and 4 week rental periods in low/mid season.

The above rates are per apartment & include full linen & towel service (changed weekly)

A deposit of £100 will secure a booking; balance payable 3 weeks before departure.

An additional security deposit of £100 (in the form of a cheque) will also be needed which will be refunded approximately 2-3 weeks after the rental period.
