Algamitas, is a working village well off the beaten track, though there are still herds of goats in the fields and on the hills, the 21st Century is catching up albeit slowly. Enjoying a perfect rural location on the slopes of Terril (the highest hill in Seville province), it is an ideal area for walkers with many tracks and paths giving almost complete freedom to explore where you wish: the springtime flowers are just superb. The village is just a 20 minute walk from the house, has several shops, bars, a bakery and two banks. 

The property: Lies facing east into the sunrise on the slopes of the southern Sierras in the province of Seville, the heart of Andalucia. It is about 1.5 hours drive from Malaga airport, which is the main gateway for flights into Andalucia. The nearest main town is Ronda which is 45 minutes by car to the South, but closer to hand are the small provincial towns of Campillos, Osuna and Olvera, each being about half an hour away. Slightly further, about 1.5 hours by road, are the wonderful cities of Seville, Cordoba and Granada each being steeped in history, art and Andalucian Moorish architecture.

The Coach House: is set slightly higher up the hillside from the main house, with its own car parking and small garden. There is a twin bedroom leading into a passageway with washing machine, and leading off this is a bathroom with shower, w.c and basin. The kitchen/dining room is fully equipped for 4 people, with French windows leading onto the terrace complete with sun awning. Off the terrace is a w.c and separate shower room and further French windows lead into the huge living area, which is on two levels, with a double bed, further dining table, comfortable seating and wood burning stove. Behind the property is a charming Arab style garden with pond, fountain, Mimosa and Jasmine - a quiet place for reflection. Our dogs and cats have all been born and brought up here and are allowed to roam free, they enjoy visitors and we ask you to respect their habits.

Scheduled and charter flights available from London and regional airports, 'Go' from Stansted, and Easyjet from Luton and Liverpool. Car hire can be arranged.
