Hidden away in the Axarquía at the end of a 2-mile lane, near Lake Vinuela, the property overlooks the Benamargosa valley and the hill-top village of Comares.  It is ideal for those wanting a peaceful and relaxed holiday in the countryside. Bounded by the coast to the south, the Sierra Tejeda to the north and the mountains of Granada to the east, this makes an excellent area for walking, with attractive mountain villages and pleasant safe beaches. Velez Malaga and Torre Del Mar, are approx. 25mins away and along the coast are numerous bars and restaurants, specialising in sea food dishes. Follow the old picturesque coast road which climbs up past the deserted medieval village of Zalia to the spectacular Zaffaraya pass and the delightful spa town of Alhama de Granada. Activities available include sea/lake fishing, golf, horse riding and windsurfing and the owners who live in the lower part of the property will be on hand to give advice and help you to enjoy your holiday.

The accommodation: forms the upper part of the property and has 3 double bedrooms all with high ceilings and fans, and 2 shower rooms, one of which is en-suite. There is a living room / kitchen, which is fully equipped with cooker, fridge etc and access to a freezer. There is a large south facing terrace which is covered, with views westwards to the spectacular sunsets over the mountains around Comares. There is a private swimming pool set within a pretty and maturing secluded garden. 

The house is not suitable for very young children, as the pool has no shallow end and there are low walls.
