Cortijo el Peso, Gaucin,
Malaga, Cortijo El Peso is a 20-acre estate in south-western Andalucia, 10 minutes’ drive from the picturesque mountain ‘white village’ of Gaucín and only half an hour from the coast. Enjoy peace and quiet in a rural setting with panoramic mountain views and eagles soaring overhead. A 20-metre swimming pool will keep you cool and with walking, cycling and horse-riding trails on the doorstep and plenty of interesting places to visit you can be as relaxed or as active as you like. There are four well-appointed, self-catering apartments in a separate annex, available for rent year-round, each with its own bathroom and kitchen facilities. Comfortably furnished with high quality new beds and locally made furniture, all the apartments have been freshly decorated in local style, with traditional tiled floors. The largest apartment, El Bosque, is on the ground floor with its own private entrance. It can accommodate a couple or three adults, or a family with one or two children. It has one double bed in a separate bedroom, one single bed and a sofa-bed in the living area. It has its own private terrace running the entire length of the apartment. On the first floor, with a separate entrance and communal terrace, are three studio apartments. El Estudio and El Nogal have double beds and private balconies and are suitable for couples. El Ciruelo has two single beds, built into the walls. It is suitable for two friends, or two children (aged 10 upwards) with parents in an adjoining apartment.
Next to the duck pond is a large barbecue area with seating: a good place to admire the views and watch swallows skimming across the pond’s surface. A washing machine, drying and ironing facilities are provided; cleaning and linen change once a week. A starter pack is included. A travel cot is available. |
