In the hinterland behind Malaga, there is an area of outstanding natural beauty called the El Torcal National Park. As well as the local flora and fauna, including soaring eagles and mountain goats, it has the most magnificent views of the mountains, and this is where our 'rural retreats' are tucked away. The park has such attractions as the unique 'lunar' shaped limestone formations, the lakes and gorges of El Chorro and the historic monuments of Antequera. 

This 120 year old farmhouse, surrounded by olive and fruit groves, has been carefully restored and is a perfect place for a family holiday. The farmhouse is located 5 kilometers from the pueblo of Villanueva de la Concepcion,  35 minutes from Malaga on the Costa del Sol. Lush grapevines cover the terraces surrounding the house, providing natural shade, and there is a swimming pool 4m x 8m, for cooling off.

The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 large modern bathrooms, one with Jacuzzi bath. Cosy living room with fireplace and a large kitchen/dining room with beamed ceilings. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven and gas hob, microwave and full compliment of kitchen utensils. The property has satellite TV with English channels, BBQ, and all quality linen and towels including swimming pool towels are provided. The accommodation has a weekly maid service included in the price, but daily service can be arranged at extra cost.
A grocery pack is also provided on arrival.

A unique feature of this holiday is the back up and services provided by our award winning country hotel, the Hotel La Posada del Torcal, where our self catering guests can take advantage of the many services that the hotel has to offer.
These include; tennis (coaching if required as an extra), horse riding, Spa treatments, restaurant, etc etc etc.
