The Costa Blanca coastline extends from "Cap de Nau" in the north to "Cabo de Palos" in the south, situated on Spain's east coast, belonging to Alicante province. Costa Blanca has two airports,  Alicante being the largest and handling tourists from all over Europe. Alicante is situated about 45 minutes drive north of Torrevieja and is the largest city along the Costa Blanca Coast. It is a wonderful walking city with lots of shopping and places of interest.
San Javier airport is south; in Murcia community with Murcia as the small "big" town, and their flights come from countries around Europe. Driving time by car to San Javier from Torrevieja is about 30 minutes.

Along the whole Costa Blanca coast the marine life is rich and most of the villages have their own port. The largest, of course, is Alicante where you can take a trip to Ibiza and Mallorca. Torrevieja has a nice yacht harbour, very popular and well used. There is much to enjoy in the area, with golf, swimming, fishing and watersports all on offer for visitors.
