This traditional casita is within walking distance of the small market town of Orgiva, which is in a broad green valley between the Sierra Nevada and Contraviesa mountains. Orgiva has bars, banks, restaurants, shops and a busy Thursday morning market where all the locals meet to catch up with the news. You can easily visit the Alhambra in Granada; beaches on the Costa Tropical and the mountain villages; you can go walking, horse trekking, paragliding, skiing or just relax in the tranquil surroundings.

El Palomar means the Dovecote and there is one in its' garden as well as orange, lemon, almond and olive trees. Inside there's a sunny living room with comfortable chairs, CD player, books, games, dining table and chairs, wood burning fire for cosy winter evenings, and the large windows look out over the garden to the mountains beyond.
The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, electric oven, hobs, toaster and granite work tops; a door leads out onto the covered patio where there are table, chairs and barbecue.
The main bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom; the second bedroom has twin beds and there's a family bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet, basin and washing machine. An extra bed can be provided for a fifth person.

Outside: The cottage has its own grounds and the attractive tear-drop shaped pool is on a lower terrace. The pool is approx 9m x 5m and is filtered and kept clean by the use of an ionizer, it is shared with another cottage which is 50m from the pool hidden behind a stone wall. There are two sunbathing terraces and an outside shower. Your car can be parked next to the cottage.

Nearest Airport is Malaga and we would recommend that you hire a car.
The changeover day is Monday in high season and a 20% non-returnable deposit secures the booking.
The owners live a few minutes drive away.
