Ocean Park, Playa de las
Americas, Southern Tenerife Tenerife is the largest and probably the most popular of the Canary Islands. Its location off the north west coast of Africa ensures a glorious year round climate that produces vast scenic contrasts running from tropical beauty in the north - particularly at the foot of the lush Orotava valley - to arid, more barren landscapes in the south. The awesome presence of Spain's largest peak, Mount Teide is a constant reminder of Tenerife's volcanic heritage and some of the beaches even have black volcanic sands. The colours found on Tenerife are terrific. Palm trees and banana plantations form the backdrop to all kinds of tropical flowers and shrubs, and you'll also find quite a colourful bunch of people on the island too! Tenerife can be a home away from home, with its many British style pubs and restaurants. However the culinary tastes of the more adventurous are also catered for in the multitude of bars and restaurants on offer. Your daytime treats include shopping trips, water sports and golf (there are three 18-hole courses on the island), and of course the wide choice of sun kissed beaches. You can round off your pleasure filled days by enjoying the night life of the towns, particularly in that of Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos. The apartment block comprises some 90 apartments. Ocean Park is in the Adeje/San Eugenio area close to all the shops, restaurants, Skypark and Aquapark. It is on the south side (beach side) of the main north/south motorway. A walk to the beach or Puerto Colon is minutes away. To go to the beach simply take the pedestrian walkway at the side of the OCEAN BEACH hotel (next to the OCEAN PARK block) and walk down to the beach in a few minutes!
A favourite with children and adults alike, the Octopus Aqua park is situated above Playa de las Americas, with large saltwater pools, hydro slides, etc. it’s a great day out. In Puerto del la Cruz, the Loro Parque, (translated this means ‘Parrot Park’,) is one of the best days out in Tenerife. The park is worth visiting for the dolphin show alone, which is held several times a day, as well as the sea lion show, shark tunnel (the longest in Europe), bat cave, tigers, gorillas, and of course the parrot show. The apartment: is a duplex type on two floors with living room, balcony, fitted kitchen, toilet and entrance from the 3rd floor level of the block by lift or by stairs. From the entrance lobby there are internal stairs to the bedroom, another balcony and bathroom on the upper level of the duplex. This floor commands good views to the sea, the town and Adeje area, and to the Aquapark up the hill. It is a quiet area with swimming pool and Admiral bar for all your thirst quenching. A good supermarket is close by for all your needs. Both balconies have sun for most of the day and look down Parque San Eugenio and to the swimming pool. Sun loungers are located around the pool, and the balcony, a real suntrap, has a table and four chairs for outside dining. The apartment is well equipped, and offers a real "home from home". |
