Pueblo Andaluz No 25, La Cala, Mijas Costa This delightful Spanish style apartment is situated in a small urbanisation less than 10 minutes walk from the small town of La Cala, with its' beautiful beach, and a 5 minute drive from the lively resort of Fuengirola. The complex itself is quiet and friendly having only 50 units - a high percentage of which are owned and occupied by British couples. The apartment is on the 1st floor, with superb views of the sea and surrounding area. It is decorated and equipped to an exceedingly high standard and would provide a comfortable and convenient base for a perfect holiday.
Apartment Details: 2 bedrooms – 1 double and 1 twin – both with large built-in wardrobes, 1 shower room with WC, kitchen with hob, combination microwave/oven, 'fridge & freezer, kettle, toaster etc. It has an airy lounge with colour TV (Satellite) & radio hi-fi, open-plan to dining area and a large balcony with table & chairs. Washing machine, heaters & electric fan provided. There are also communal pools for your use. Bed
Linen: Duvets are provided in the cooler
months, sheets & throws in the summer. Location/Accessibility: Drive on the N340 from Malaga Airport heading towards Marbella (Full details can be provided if you intend to hire a car). A Car Rental Company can be recommended on request, as can an airport pick-up service. Malaga Airport 20 mins; (Taxi 30-40 Euro). Marbella 25 mins; Gibraltar 45 mins; (bus trip 12 Euro). Fuengirola 10 mins, (Taxi 9 Euro). Taxis are abundant and not overly priced (some of the fares we paid are listed above) but buses are also cheap and frequent.
The situation of the apartment means that car hire is not essential. Within 5 minutes walk to the right there is a well-stocked Mini Market and a number of small bars and restaurants including British, Chinese and Italian. To the left there is also a selection of cafes and bars plus a bakery. All conveniently close, with the benefit of being out of sight and out of earshot! Golf, Tennis & Water sports are all within walking distance. The small charismatic town of La Cala will take you a leisurely 15minute walk to the centre, and has all the essentials (Banks, P.O., Supermarket etc) plus a huge choice of bars & restaurants. The Saturday morning market should not be missed. * Please note that if you will be arriving outside of normal office hours – please advise, as we will have to organise the keys. |
