The Apartment: A 2-bedroom penthouse apartment with private roof solarium overlooking the main channel, and conveniently situated close to the sandy beach and most amenities. From the balcony, the boating enthusiast can observe all the boats, from the largest multi-million dollar yachts to the smaller day craft, entering and leaving Empuriabrava.

The Accommodation: will sleep 4 (5 on request), and comprises of 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, fitted bathroom, open plan American style kitchen, lounge/dining, leading onto the balcony. From the balcony a spiral staircase leads up to the private roof solarium with built in BBQ.

The Area: Empuriabrava is the largest and most distinctive marina in Europe having some 5000 moorings, lying on the romantic Costa Brava on the Bay of Roses at the foot of the Pyrenees Mountains. There are 20 miles of navigable seawater channels, the banks of which are home to an array of beautiful villas, fishermen’s cottages and stylish apartments. There are miles of gorgeous sandy beaches on the bay.  The closest in just down the road from the apartment. Various events take place throughout the year: Weekly street markets, sports events including regattas and free-fall parachuting exhibitions, cultural events. Also a visit to the historic towns of Figueres (Dali Museum), and Cadaques (picturesque fishing village and home of Dali), are a must.

Sports / Activities: The Empuriabrava aerodrome is home to the Costa Brava Parachuting Centre, considered to be one of the worlds leading centres.
Sailing, wind surfing, water-skiing, deep-sea fishing, jet skis, parasailing and scuba diving (there are two diving schools here), are all catered for. Other amenities include two Tennis clubs, Horse-riding schools, a local Water Park and a number of very good golf courses within easy driving distance. For walkers and ramblers, the Parc Natural Del Cap De Creus is just 5 minutes away, or 30 minutes away takes you to the Pyrenees.

Getting there: The closest airports, both 50-60 minutes drive away, are Girona (Gerona) in Spain, or Perpignan in France. A little further out is the Spanish airport of Barcelona, about 95 minutes. For flights to Girona, British Airways, (0845 77 999 77), and Ryanair now fly here, or try any of the numerous charter airlines that fly to Girona. Also see ITV Teletext. For Flights to Perpignan or Carcassonne, your best bet is Ryanair, who operate daily flights. For to flights Barcelona, both EasyJet, and British Airways fly here from various UK airports.
