Casita Ventura is a charming country cottage in the hills behind Estepona. It is 3 kms from the coast, and has panoramic views over Estepona, Gibraltar and the sea. Estepona is a medium sized town, which has so far escaped much of the development seen along the Costa del Sol. It has an attractive seafront with a picturesque palm-studded promenade, a charming old quarter, excellent shellfish and tapas bars, nightlife, marina and an EU blue flag beach. Shopping is easy and handy, with the big Estepona Carrefour just outside the town. Many other supermarkets are close by and superb fresh produce markets in Estepona itself.

For those who wish to explore Andalucía - "The Old Spain" - the Casita is ideally placed. Just a few miles inland from the coast the white towns of Casares and Gaucín perch incredibly on the edge of mountainous cliffs. The countryside is wild and beautiful, and is almost impossible to believe that the bright lights of the coast are just a short drive away.

The cottage: is elegantly furnished and consists of sitting room, dining area/kitchen, two double bedrooms with bathroom between and a separate W.C. There is a washing machine and satellite TV and also a delightful terrace with table and chairs and a small colourful garden. Cooking and water heating are by gas, plus there is an open wood fire in the sitting room.

There are a vast selection of golf courses in the area, ranging from the top championship courses such as Valderrama, Sotogrande and Las Brisas, to the stunning mountain course of Monte Mayor and the attractive Paraíso nearby. Excellent horse riding and tennis are available in the locality.
