Set on the lush coastal plain midway between Malaga & Almeria, Cortijo Nuevo benefits from a rural location. There are many other things of interest in the area, including the thriving market town of Motril 5mins , and Salobreña 10mins - pretty pueblo Blanco, Arab castle with panoramic views over fertile plain & Granada coastline. The traditional Spanish resort, of Almuñecar  is 25mins, and Nerja 45mins - largest resort on this part of the coast. Orgiva is 35mins and is the main town of western Alpujarras, and Granada 50mins, with its rich cultural heritage, the modern city with charming pavement cafes and bars. Sierra Nevadas are 80mins - snow capped most of the year, and Malaga airport is just 90mins
 

Casa Pequeña: is a charming one-bedroom cottage, which is ideal for couples. Furnishings are traditional in style with a mixture of modern and antique. Kitchen - electric oven, gas hob with extractor hood, fridge/freezer, double sink, washing machine, microwave, and table for 2. Spiral stairs lead up to .the living room - double sofa-bed, BBC satellite television and video, CD/hi-fi, ADSL laptop connection point, French window with balcony overlooking rear garden, pool and mountains. Stable door leads up to .the private roof terrace - 360° views iron mosaic table and chairs. A perfect place to enjoy a bottle of wine and watch the sunsets.

Second terrace ground floor leads to a double bedroom with en-suite shower room - WC, shower and basin.

Please note that the bedroom and shower room are accessed only from the terrace and are not connected to the living room.

El Apartamento: is a modern, light and airy apartment for up to 4 people. It has a kitchen/living room - fully equipped with electric oven, gas/electric hob with extractor hood, washing machine, microwave, fridge, second fridge/freezer, and the living room is spacious with a large sofa, double and single sofa bed, BBC/Sky television and video, CD/hi-fi and breakfast bar leading to kitchen area. Cordless connection for laptop computer available.

Private roof terrace - L-shaped private sun terrace with furniture for 4 people. Views to the Mediterranean, garden, pool and mountains.  Double bedroom - spacious with fine views South over the gravel garden, fountain and nearby Mediterranean Sea. Bathroom - WC, bath with shower over and basin.

Outside: Set in mature sub-tropical gardens it is private and relaxing with sea and mountain views from the roof terraces.  There are patios with areas for Al Fresco dining, a restful fountain, BBQ area as well as the recently added swimming pool with sun deck area. The gardens can be illuminated at night and enjoyed into the early hours, stars always seem to be visible. The swimming pool is 6 metres by 3 metres , with a depth of 1.2 metres throughout There is also a shady vine covered car parking area.
