The beautiful village of Mijas is situated in the foothills of the Sierra Mijas mountains with panoramic views to the coasts of Fuengirola and Marbella. It is still one of the typical white villages, which retains the true Spanish charm with its cobbled streets leading to numerous restaurants, shops, beautiful churches and gardens. One can relax and enjoy that special Spanish ambiance appreciating the mountain views and surrounding countryside, which is breathtaking.

The tourist office, situated in the town hall of Mijas village, offers regular cultural and interest tours and in the summer months the auditorium hosts weekly flamenco or Spanish guitar exhibitions. There are numerous leisure activities such as the famous Mijas golf course, horse riding and municipal swimming pool. The beaches are just 15 minutes by car, or bus if you prefer, (available outside the apartment) with Marbella and the famous Puerto Banus just a 45-minute drive. Malaga airport is about a 25 minute drive. The ancient town of Rhonda further inland is one of the most interesting towns in Andalusia with its monuments and secluded palaces. Well worth a visit.

The Apartment: This charming ground floor apartment comprises sitting/dining room that is tastefully furnished with two comfortable sofas and a coffee table. There is also a television with BBC satellite, video and a stereo system. The dining area has a large Catalan dining table with six chairs. From the sitting room there is a door leading outside to a large sun terrace with patio table, chairs and sun loungers, plus there is a roof terrace for sunbathing and for guests to enjoy the breathtaking views.
There are two double bedrooms and one twin bedded room, all with fitted wardrobes, and bedside cabinets. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob, and plenty of storage space. There is a washing machine in the utility area outside. The bathroom comprises bath with shower attachment over, wash hand basin, wc and bidet.

There are only six apartments in the building and the enclosed mature garden is lawned and has numerous flowers and two orange trees.
